Kisspeptin-10
Kisspeptin-10 is a short, biologically active fragment of the naturally occurring kisspeptin family of neuropeptides, which play a central role in regulating the reproductive endocrine axis. It is studied primarily for its ability to stimulate release of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), positioning it as a research tool for reproductive hormone and fertility-related pathways. Clinical research remains largely early-stage, conducted mostly in controlled research settings rather than broad outpatient use. Kisspeptin-10 is not currently approved as a therapeutic drug in most jurisdictions, and long-term safety data in humans is limited. Its research use spans both male and female reproductive hormone contexts.
Reported benefits
- Studied for stimulating the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis
- Investigated as a research tool for reproductive hormone regulation
- May be of interest in fertility-related research contexts
- Explored for potential effects on gonadotropin release patterns in controlled studies
How it works
Kisspeptin-10 binds to the KISS1 receptor (also called GPR54) on GnRH-producing neurons in the hypothalamus, triggering downstream release of GnRH. This in turn stimulates the pituitary to release luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), which regulate downstream sex hormone production in the gonads.

|---|---|---|
| Low | 50 mcg | once daily, per limited research protocols |
| Moderate | 100 mcg | once daily |
| High | 200 mcg | once or twice daily, as referenced in some exploratory research contexts |

This tool produces a rough, educational estimate by scaling commonly-published research ranges to lean body mass. It is not a prescription, medical advice, or a substitute for a licensed clinician. Most peptides use fixed dosing, not weight-based dosing. Individual needs vary. You are solely responsible for how you use this information.

Possible side effects
Stacking notes
Because kisspeptin acts upstream of GnRH, combining it with other hormone-modulating compounds may have compounding or unpredictable effects on the reproductive axis; this has not been well studied.

Common questions
What is Kisspeptin-10 used for?
Kisspeptin-10 is a short, biologically active fragment of the naturally occurring kisspeptin family of neuropeptides, which play a central role in regulating the reproductive endocrine axis. It is studied primarily for its ability to stimulate release of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), positioning it as a research tool for reproductive hormone and fertility-related pathways. Its research use spans both male and female reproductive hormone contexts. Reported benefits include studied for stimulating the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis, investigated as a research tool for reproductive hormone regulation, may be of interest in fertility-related research contexts.
What is a typical Kisspeptin-10 dose?
Reported ranges run 50-200 mcg. A low protocol is 50 mcg once daily, per limited research protocols, and a high protocol is 200 mcg once or twice daily, as referenced in some exploratory research contexts. This is reference information, not a dosing recommendation.
What is the half life of Kisspeptin-10?
Very short, generally cited as only several minutes in circulation, reflecting rapid enzymatic degradation of kisspeptin fragments.. That is what sets the dosing frequency, and it is why the timing guidance is as directed by your clinician.
How is Kisspeptin-10 administered?
Subcutaneous: into fat, under the skin.
How long is a Kisspeptin-10 cycle?
Research protocols have used daily or divided dosing over periods of days to weeks on, followed by No standardized off-cycle period is established in available literature off. Because human data is limited, cycling patterns are not well defined and should be treated as exploratory rather than established practice.
What are the side effects of Kisspeptin-10?
Reported side effects include limited human safety data available outside research settings, reported flushing or injection site discomfort, potential for hormonal fluctuation effects that are not fully characterized, theoretical concern for unintended effects on reproductive hormone balance with unsupervised use. Evidence level for this compound is moderate evidence.
