Epithalon
Also known as Epitalon
Epithalon (also spelled Epitalon) is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) modeled on epithalamin, a pineal gland extract studied extensively by Russian gerontology researchers since the late twentieth century. It has been investigated mainly for possible effects on telomerase activity, circadian rhythm regulation, and general biological aging markers. Most available data come from animal studies and a limited number of small human trials conducted outside rigorous Western regulatory review. It remains an investigational compound without broad regulatory approval, and long-term human safety and efficacy are not well established.
Reported benefits
- May support healthy circadian rhythm and sleep patterns
- Studied for potential telomerase-related cellular effects
- Explored as part of general anti-aging research protocols
- May support antioxidant balance in some animal models
How it works
Epithalon has been proposed to activate telomerase, an enzyme that extends chromosome-end repeat sequences, in some cell lines studied in vitro and in animal models. It may also influence pineal gland regulation of melatonin secretion, potentially supporting circadian rhythm normalization. Some researchers hypothesize antioxidant and gene-expression-modulating effects, though precise molecular pathways in humans remain incompletely characterized.

Read before using
This tool produces a rough, educational estimate by scaling commonly-published research ranges to lean body mass. It is not a prescription, medical advice, or a substitute for a licensed clinician. Most peptides use fixed dosing, not weight-based dosing. Individual needs vary. You are solely responsible for how you use this information.

This dose needs 140 units, more than a 100-unit syringe holds. Add more water, split the dose, or use a larger syringe.
A U-100 syringe reads 100 units per mL. This is a reconstitution math helper only, not a prescription or dosing advice. Verify every calculation and consult a qualified healthcare provider.

What is Epithalon used for?
Epithalon (also spelled Epitalon) is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) modeled on epithalamin, a pineal gland extract studied extensively by Russian gerontology researchers since the late twentieth century. Reported benefits include may support healthy circadian rhythm and sleep patterns, studied for potential telomerase-related cellular effects, explored as part of general anti-aging research protocols.
What is a typical Epithalon dose?
Reported ranges run 5-10 mg. A low protocol is 5 mg daily for 10 days, and a high protocol is 10 mg daily for 20 days. This is reference information, not a dosing recommendation.
What is the half life of Epithalon?
Very short, estimated in minutes, though reported downstream biological effects may last longer. That is what sets the dosing frequency, and it is why the timing guidance is before bed.
How is Epithalon administered?
Subcutaneous: into fat, under the skin.
How long is a Epithalon cycle?
10-20 days on, followed by 2-3 months off. Traditionally administered in short annual or biannual courses rather than continuously
What are the side effects of Epithalon?
Reported side effects include injection site irritation, mild fatigue or drowsiness, headache, limited long-term human safety data. Evidence level for this compound is emerging research.
